Fuel cost projections on target for City of Scottsdale

While the high price of gasoline has impacted some Valley cities’ budgets, Scottsdale is sitting in the catbird seat when it comes to the stuff ... so far, at least.

The City of Peoria had to boost its budgets at the end of last year to cover the hight cost of petroleum products.

The city council approved a $255,000 bump to its budget at the end of last fiscal year because of the of the high price of fuel, oil and tires — $65,000 of which was for tires.
