Fruitlandia will open its second Phoenix location Saturday, serving Latin and Mexican frozen treats at 2634 W. Bethany Home Road.
For the July 29 grand opening, the new location will celebrate with buy-one-get-one free 20-ounce raspados in any flavor. Restrictions apply.
It will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The first Frutilandia store in Mesa opened in 2006 featuring raspado or Mexican shaved ice recipes. The menu now includes tropical drinks, ice cream, agua frescas, handcrafted milk shakes and savory snacks.
The new Frutilandia location on Bethany Home Road and 27th Avenue is operated by franchise owners Moises Gomez and Maria Hernandez.
It features a 4,200-square-foot indoor space with a walk-up counter for dine-in and takeout ordering, an ice cream counter, seating for up to 98 guests for indoor dining and a drive-thru.
