FROM THE EDITOR: Email newsletter brings news to you

Matt Loeschman

If you’re like me, one of the first things you do in the morning is fire up the computer and check email. And if you want to get to your local news as quickly and easily as possible, the Daily News-Sun has just the thing for you — our daily email newsletter.

The newsletter is delivered directly to your inbox every day in the early morning. And it could not be any easier to sign up — simply access YourValley.net, scroll down and enter your email address in the field below “Subscribe to Newsletter.”

Once you do, you can expect to see the top local news of the day from across the Northwest Valley. The stories are arranged in list format with a picture accompanying each preview. Click “Read the Whole Story” and you’ll automatically be routed to the full story on YourValley.net.

Besides news stories, sports and opinion items are also included in the newsletter.

There is also a link to subscribe to the Daily News-Sun and links to our other product sites — Glendale Today, Peoria Today, Sun City Independent, Sun City West Independent and Surprise Today. You can also access our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter with one click.

At any time, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter simply with a couple clicks of your mouse.

Additionally, our other newspapers also have their own daily email newsletters as well. Those can be accessed by going to the respective websites for those newspapers and following the same signup process.

The benefits of YourValley.net are numerous and I explained them in a previous column (Daily News-Sun, May 25).

Getting right to the site could not be any easier — sign up for our daily email newsletter today at YourValley.net.
