Everything for October vibes is right here in the West Valley.

From the full-on scare fest of Fear Farm to family farms ready for all ages – not to mention ready for all photo opportunities – pumpkins, games, and rides will dominate the scene this month.

Halloween Town’s Pumpkin Patch has all the good stuff at its location in west Phoenix at 2209 N. 99th Ave., about 10 minutes south of Westgate. There’s also a Pumpkin Patch out east in Gilbert.

The perfect destination for kids and grandkids, admission to Halloween Town’s Pumpkin Patch is $7 (kids 2 and under are free) and features everything from face painting to pumpkin painting and, natu-rally, a chance to pick your own pumpkins.

Rides on site are geared toward kids ages 2-8, with activities for all ages. Look for magician shows and characters in costume all month long.

Throughout October, the Patch is open 4-9 p.m. every Wednesday and Thursday, 4-10 p.m. every Fri-day, and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.

One ride or one game ticket is $1. (Most rides are 3-5 tickets.) An all-day wristband costs $25 Wednesday and Thursday and $30 per person Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
