From in-person instruction to digital and back again at Scottsdale Schools

At the dawn of the global COVID-19 pandemic the Scottsdale Unified School District — along with public school entities across the country — realized quickly a seamless transition to online learning was happening.

But the rate at which the pivot to online learning at Scottsdale Schools, which in March 2020 was inexplicably overnight, had to occur rested solely on an initial online learning point person.

Megan Barnash, Instruction Technology Coach at SUSD, was that person, officials there say.
