From Germany to Olympics medal to Scottsdale, golfer ready for Chandler LPGA event

Esther Henseleit calls Troon Country Club ‘family’

Esther Henseleit has played golf all around the world and chose Scottsdale and the Troon Country Club as home.

“When I joined the LPGA Tour full-time, moving to the U.S. was a big decision, mainly based on simplifying travel, lifestyle and finding somewhere with world class facilities to train,” Henseleit said.

“I have been very lucky to be welcomed into the Troon Country Club family. After years of practicing in the rain and snow in Germany, I wanted a home where the weather wouldn't hold me back. Having visited Arizona before, I fell in love with the Valley’s golf courses and views. With friends already living here, it was an easy decision - and one I haven't regretted for a moment.”
