Friday night shooting in Phoenix leaves 1 man dead, 1 hospitalized

A 40-year-old man was shot and died Friday night at a Thunderbird Road apartment complex, and Phoenix police are looking for help finding the killer.
The shooting occurred about 10:15 p.m. Dec. 8 at 5020 W. Thunderbird Road where police found Omari King with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man also was shot and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a release.

The shooting occurred about 10:15 p.m. Dec. 8 at 5020 W. Thunderbird Road where police found Omari King with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man also was shot and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a release.
Detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest, police said.
