With prom season around the corner, The Prom Closet is opening soon to help students celebrate.

The mission of The Prom Closet is to offer new and gently used formal attire to make attending prom affordable. Organizers provide stylish prom attire for young women and men in an inviting “shopping” experience.

The Prom Closet will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26, and also Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2. The location is at the Glendale Elementary School District's new campus dedicated to the community, System of Care Campus (formerly Coyote Ridge) at 7677 W. Bethany Home Road.

All clothes are free thanks to the work of Rotarians who collect, sort and store donations throughout the year. Donations of new and gently-used women's formal clothing are always welcome.

Only one other person permitted with each shopper. Shopping time will be limited. No children under 10 years of age.

All students are welcome. There are no financial requirements, restrictions or other stipulations to be met.
