Free Medicare workshops coming to Surprise

2 sessions set for October, November

The city of Surprise is hosting two free workshops for anyone wanting to learn more about Medicare.

Surprise’s local State Health Insurance Assistance Program  Counselor, Roberta Ezratty, will be teaching the classes.

Topics include how and when to apply, coverage information, enrollment guidelines, changes coming in 2024 and more.

Workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Monday, Nov. 6  at the Surprise Resource Center, 12425 W. Bell Road, Suite 124.

Residents can choose to attend either workshop. No registration is required, and walk-ins are welcomed.
