AJUSD Food Services is hosting the United Food Bank Mobile School Market at Apache Junction High School Cafeteria, 2525 S. Ironwood in Apache Junction, according to a Facebook post @AJUSD43.

Markets are limited to supplies on hand and are held 2:30-4 p.m. Oct. 19, Nov. 16 and Dec. 21; and, in 2023, on Jan. 18, Feb. 15 and April 19. No market is planned in March.

Park in the north parking lot and enter through the north gate near the cafeteria patio and picnic tables. The line will form on the patio with a limited number allowed in the cafeteria at a time.

Bring your own box, wagon or portable shopping basket to transport food. Food may include prepackaged shelf stable items, fresh produce, bread and other seasonal items.

The market is open to the entire community. If you do not have an application for benefits on file, you will be asked to complete one on the first day of your visit. You do not need to bring any paperwork to complete the application.

With each visit, the following information will be asked at sign in: Name, address, number of persons in the household and birth date.
