A free workshop as part of the city’s green living series on how to grow an edible garden in the desert is coming to Glendale. The event goes from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Glendale Main Library, 5959 W. Brown St.
Cathy Rymer, master gardener, certified arborist, retired water conservation coordinator, author, and experienced horticulturist will share everything you need to know from spring selection, planting, and maintenance with heirloom veggies and fruit choices. The class will also include information on native desert edible plants.
