Free book at winter celebration in Mesa library parking lot Dec. 19

Posted

Come celebrate winter with the Red Mountain Library staff as they have several stops to drive to 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, in the parking lot at 635 N. Power Road in Mesa with special treats or crafts at each stop.

“Each car will get a copy of ‘The Polar Express’ by Chris Van Allsburg courtesy of Kids Need To Read. All treats and books are available while supplies last,” according to a release.

“Please enter the library parking lot at the west entrance — off of Power Road — and exit the parking lot by taking a right at Power Road, so we can keep things moving. Please drive slowly, stay in your car and follow directional signs,” the release states.

Officials cannot guarantee that food served at the program has not come into contact with tree nuts, soy or other allergens.
