Everyone knows libraries are built to expand people’s minds, and visitors to Scottsdale’s Civic Center Library can do that through more than books and digital materials through Sept 30.
That’s because the gallery in the center of the building’s main floor is hosting Scottsdale Art’s latest free exhibition, “Open spaces: fiber arts addressing the landscape.”
“It’s really celebrating the National Parks Service along with the beauty and value of open space like parks and land that doesn’t have any development,” said the exhibit’s curator Wendy Raisanen.
