Frederick Leland Jones, born June 12th, 1925 in Kansas was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He passed away at home the morning of Wednesday, February 6th, 2019 in Sun City West, AZ at the age of 93.His wife Mary Jo Jones of 72 years was by his side. He is also survived by 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grand-children and 1 great-great grandchild.For 60 plus years he was an ordained minister in Kansas and completed his ministerial leadership at the Second Baptist Church in Phoenix, AZ.In his lifetime he served in the U.S. Coastguard.Upon his wife Mary's retirement from real estate at Del Webb's Sun City West they loved traveling almost all 50 states in their motorhome. He was also a constant picture taker not only of he and his wife's travels but of the family birthdays or events. What followed was always an all family get-together to share a meal while watching his fun slide show!He and his wife were avid golfers and the golf clubs always accompanied their travels.His kindness, caring, and wonderful sense of humor and jokes will be missed by all.A private celebration of his life is planned with his family.
