Fred Kinsey Kane, 77Fred Kinsey Kane of Sun City West passed away June 16, 2008 after a long battle with Alzheimer's complicated by vascular dementia. Mr. Kane will be remembered for the way he shared his heart with his family. He loved his church, biking, downhill skiing where he was on ski patrol at Buck Hill for 27 years, the Uller Ski Club where he met his wife, Sharon, and ballroom dancing, which he shared with his first wife, Harrietta. Mr. Kane's faith carried him and his family through the difficult time. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marrion, father, Henry, and Harrietta. He was survived by his wife, Sharon; brother, Joe; sisters Alice and Sally; loving children Mary (Randy), David (Monica), Kimberly (Terry), Brad (Deyon), Susan (Brad), Denise (Jay), Kimberly and David. Mr. Kane adored and was loved by his grandchildren.He donated his body to Alzheimer's research with the hopes they could find some link that may make the difference in the treatment of this disease. There will be a celebration of his life when research is complete and Mr. Kane will be buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery next to Harrietta. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of the Valley.
