Frank R. Palermo

Frank R. Palermo, Jr., 64Sun City West resident Frank R. "Skip" Palermo, Jr., died Oct. 5, 2007.Mr. Palermo was born July 3, 1943, in Oak Park, Ill., to Frank and Mildred Palermo. He was a firefighter for 23 years, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a plumber.He is survived by his wife, Diane; two sons, Frank Joseph (Joanne) Palermo of Scottsdale and Ricco Michael (Melissa) Palermo of Tampa, Fla.; a grandchild, Nicholas John; a brother, George (Karen) Palermo of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.A mass was conducted Oct. 11 at our Lady of the Sun in Peoria.In lieu of flowers, it is requested memorial mass be donated in Mr. Palermo's name (make checks payable to Fr. Paul Andrade) to Our Lady of the Sun, 12546 W. Peoria Ave., El Mirage, AZ 85335.
