Frank, 86, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on February 3, 2025. He was born on March 30, 1938, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Frank Sularz Sr. and Anne Sularz (nee Stwora).
Frank graduated from high school and attended vocational school, where he trained as an electrician. His love for learning led him to join the United States Army, where he proudly served his country while continuing his education.
In his early years, Frank enjoyed deer hunting, but in later life, his passion shifted to golf. His love for the sport was one of the reasons he was excited to move to Sun City, Arizona. Frank cherished spending time with his family, often visiting them and finding joy in helping with little tasks. He was a dedicated member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anne Sularz, and his brother, John. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Marlys Sularz; his children, Ann Benson (Scott), Joy Scherber (Scott), Jill Dessler, and Frank Sularz III; his stepchildren, Linn Roberts (Shawn), Pamela Anderson, Tracy Rowland (Rich), and Austin Anderson (Cathy). He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Courtney, Jordan, Matt, Katie, Enae, Luke, and Rilie; step-grandchildren: Angela, Jennifer, Amanda, Andy, Austin, and Luke; three great-grandchildren and thirteen step-great-grandchildren. Frank is also survived by his siblings: Margie, Joe, Cindy, Kathy, Jeannie, Mary Ann, and Susie, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Frank will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and military service at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
