Mrs. Frances Kokoszka, of Sun City, AZ, passed away with family by her bedside, on August 11th, 2017 at the Brookdale Assisted Living.Mrs. Kokoszka was born in Medina, NY, September 14, 1926, a daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia Gulinski.Frances was a graduate of Sacred Heart and Medina High School.She married John Kokoszka on September 17, 1949, at Sacred Heart of Jesus, Roman Catholic Church.Frances and her husband John moved from Medina, NY to Sun City, AZ in 1989.She was active in her church St. Joachim & St. Anne's Catholic Church and, after John's passing, was also active in the Grief Support Group.Frances was a loving mother and grandmother.Survivors include her son, Daniel (Vivian) Kokoszka of Pasadena, CA, her daughter, Christine (Douglas) Stone of Pasadena, CA, and her granddaughter Stephanie Stone of Oakland, CA.Frances was predeceased by her husband John on August 7, 2005.Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave. in Sun City, AZ. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017 at St. Joachim & St. Anne Catholic Church, 11625 N. 111th Ave., Sun City, AZ. Interment will be at Sunland Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul charity.
