Fourplex planned at University, Country Club in Mesa

A permit was recently approved to allow for the development of a fourplex housing development north of West University Drive and west of North Country Club Drive in Mesa.

The Mesa Board of Adjustment on March 1 voted unanimously in a consent agenda with other items to approve a development incentive permit for the property in the multiple residence 2 zoning district. Board members Adam Gunderson and Heath Reed were absent.

Proposed improvements on the 0.46-acre property include two two-story buildings totaling 1,768 square feet, landscaping and parking. The applicant was requesting a reduction to the required western side yard building setbacks and the perimeter landscape yard widths and plant material requirements, according to a written staff report.
