Of all the short- and long-term challenges, major projects and unanswered questions the Fountain Hills Unified School District has going on now, at least one situation appears to be resolved.
In a short special March 25 meeting, the FHUSD Governing Board only took one action. That was to unanimously approve a contract for Val Reichler to be its next superintendent.
No salary terms or other finalist names were disclosed. The board met for several hours in executive session before and after a lengthy March 18 regular meeting to discuss the vacancy, and was prepared to do so again March 25.
