Fountain Hills council restores call to the public with ‘guardrails’

Public comment open with restrictions

The Fountain Hills Town Council voted 5-2 to restore the call to the public 77 days after voting to remove the platform during a November 2025 meeting.

The move will allow the public to address issues not on the agenda, but with changes to the format.

Councilmembers Peggy McMahon and Brenda Kalivianakis were the dissenting votes due to changes, and both voted against initially removing the public comment last year.
