Fountain Hills town attorney resigns as legal counsel

Following closed session to discuss town council concerns

Aaron Arnson, with the law firm of Pierce Coleman, has sent the Town of Fountain Hills a letter of termination to end the firm’s legal representation of the town effective May 1.

The letter was sent April 16, the day following a closed executive session with the council. The executive session was requested by Councilmember Gayle Earle for a review of the contract with Pierce Coleman. Arnson did not attend the regular session of the council following the closed session.

The Times Independent obtained a copy of Arnson’s letter through a documents request.
