A patriotic spirit is already taking hold in Fountain Hills, where preparations for America’s 250th anniversary are turning everyday spaces into a celebration of history, pride and place. From the Avenue of the Fountains to Fountain Park, the Town is layering a distinctly local lens onto a national milestone marking the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
“America 250 gives us a wonderful chance to celebrate 250 years of freedom and pride,” said Mayor Gerry Friedel. “Fountain Hills embodies some of the best ideals of our nation, and we are thrilled to join in on the fun.”
Community Relations Director Mike Pelton agreed.
