One Fountain Hills family started 2026 with perhaps the greatest gift of all; the birth of their first child.
Jorge and Nikole Coronado welcomed their baby boy, Jaxson, at 12:10 a.m. on Jan. 1 at HonorHealth Shea Scottsdale Medical Center. Jaxson weighed a healthy 7 pounds, 7.2 ounces and came with a full head of hair.
Jorge said they were starting their day as normal on Dec. 31 by getting up between 4:30 and 5 a.m. when Nikole went into labor. Nikole, however, did not anticipate being in labor for nearly 19 hours, though doctors were able to safetly deliver Jaxson via C-section just after midnight.
