Found in translation: A little piece of Hawaii has come to Peoria

808 Social opened March 15

You can now have your own little slice of Hawaii in Peoria.

A new coffee shop specializing in Hawaiian coffee and snacks named 808 Social just opened on March 15 near downtown, 8435 W. Peoria Ave.

Co-owner Charis Browne said she and her husband, Matthew, created 808 Social as a space to gather and socialize.
