Former West Valley musician back for Surprise, Glendale gigs

A former Valley musician now living in England is making his way back to the West Valley for a couple performances.

Singer/guitarist Freddie Hall, who previously called Surprise home, will bring his blend of Motown, soul and rock and roll to two stages this month.

Hall performs in a duo with Rich La Rose at 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 23 at Chef Peter’s bistro at Sun Village, 17300 N. Sun Village Parkway, in Surprise. The very next night Hall, backed by a four-piece band, takes the stage at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 24 at Dillons KC BBQ Arrowhead, 20585 N. 59th Ave., in Glendale.

“I always get a kick out of coming back to the States,” Hall said. “I love playing some music, meeting up with old friends, and making new ones.”

Admission to both venues is free.
