Former Scottsdale City Manager Jim Thompson is heading home to Arizona for a new chapter in the private sector.
Following nearly 40 years in city government, Thompson has joined the Phoenix-based Sustainability Engineering Group as president and chief growth officer, according to a press release.
The Sustainability Engineering Group is a design and artificial intelligence firm that combines traditional engineering and planning services with AI-powered due diligence tools that help municipalities, developers and businesses gather project information, evaluate sites and identify potential issues earlier in the process.
