Former pro football players headline End Zone Experience in Chandler


CHANDLER — The 2023 End Zone Experience, a weeklong football-centric extravaganza featuring multiple events for all interests and age ranges — and, of course, football enthusiasts.

Events, mostly ticketed, take place at various locations throughout the city of Chandler beginning Monday, Feb. 6 through Sunday, Feb. 12.

The 2023 End Zone Experience features a lineup of entertainment and engaging activations including live music and concerts, the chance to “meet and greet” with former NFL players, interactive games, educational workshops, panel discussions, awards, a community engagement pavilion, a high school football camp and combine in the Chandler area led by former NFL players and coaches and more.

Special events taking place throughout the weeklong 2023 End Zone Experience include:

Touchdown Sports and Education Workshop

Monday, Feb. 6, 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Chandler Center for the Arts — 250 N. Arizona Ave.

Cost: Free admission

High-school level ninth through 12th grade athletes are invited to this interactive workshop with former NFL players “Big” Michael Bankston (a former Arizona Cardinal), Evan Oglesby and Lousaka Polite who will educate and enlighten students, their parents and others who work with athletes on managing success on and off the field.

Cigars, Cognac and Conversation

Tuesday, Feb. 7 and Wednesday, Feb. 8, 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Maduro’s Fine Cigars and Tobacco — 4991 S. Alma School Rd., Chandler

Cost: $50 for general admisstion; $100 for VIP

This intimate 21 and over evening of cigars, conversation, cognac, delicious eats for purchase, a DJ spinning sultry tunes and more is not to be missed. General admission includes one cigar; VIP ticket holders receive one cigar and reserved seating.

Dancing with the NFL Greats

Wednesday, Feb. 8, 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

This exclusive event benefiting the Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation invites guests to enjoy a lively evening of fun, dining, drinking and dancing as they watch NFL greats and professional dance teams compete — just like “Dancing with the Stars” right in the heart of Chandler! Dru Hill 25th Anniversary Concert

This can’t-miss event serves as the kickoff of the Dru Hill 25th Anniversary Concert featuring live performances by legendary members of the group such as Sisqo, Nokio, Jazz, Scola, Tao, Smoke and Black. Vaughn Willis and Earcandy are set to perform the opening set.

The VIP Experience includes concert ticket, pre-show reception from 6 to 7 p.m. including complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres/light buffet and meet and greet with artists.

Best of the Best Football Camp and Combine

Saturday, Feb. 11 , 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Seton Catholic Preparatory — 1150 N. Dobson Rd., Chandler

Cost: Early Bird High School Athlete Registration starts at $200; family and spectator ticket prices vary

Led by former NFL players including “Big” Michael Bankston, Evan Oglesby, Lousaka Polite, Gabe Martin and Eric Swann as well as NFL coaching pros Frank David and Dan Manucci and others, this one-day football camp and combine is geared for ninth to 12th grade student athletes.

Attendees will learn to fine-tune their skills under the guidance of the best of the NFL in offensive and defensive drills with sideline talks and pointers and a combine run-through complete with a personal digital scorecard designed to help participants market themselves to colleges and universities.

Campers will receive lunch, a swag bag, a camp T-shirt and photo opportunities with NFL greats. Family and spectators are welcome; food truck will be onsite for food purchase.


2023 End Zone Experience Family Festival

This fun-for-the-whole family event features live Afro Beats music as well as a DJ, food trucks and vendors, a farmers market, health and wellness fair, celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, a kids fun zone featuring face painting, inflatables and field games with NFL players and more.
