Former Peoria coach facing child sex crime charges is back in custody

Former Peoria High School varsity boys basketball coach Patrick Battillo is back in custody after the judge in the case increased his bond this week.

Former Peoria High School varsity boys basketball coach Patrick Battillo is back in custody after the judge in the case increased his bond this week.

Maricopa County District Court Judge Michael Kemp increased the secured bond of Battillo to $200,000 in a April 21 hearing.

Kemp said Battillo posed a danger to the community before he decided to increase the bond.
