Former Buckeye Police Officer faces no charges arrest of autistic teen

A jury’s decision ruled that former Buckeye police Officer David Grossman will not be charged in a federal trial that was to decide whether Grossman used excessive force when confronting Connor Leibel, a then teenager with autism.
This incident occurred in 2017 when Leibel was 14.

According to court documents, the officer witnessed Leibel “stimming,” a term used to describe self-stimulating with the use of a piece of string.
