Godoy told the victim to meet him inside a gymnasium at the prison, according to the indictment, and held her in a chokehold while sexually abusing her.
The victim reported the crime to law enforcement.
“This defendant took advantage of the trust between colleagues and abused his victim at a place where others were not in sight,” Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said.
On July 17, Godoy was indicted on the following:
One count of kidnapping.
One count of sexual abuse.
One count of attempt to commit sexual assault.
He was being held on a $75,000 secured appearance bond.
