Forensic lab, evidence storage on tap in Glendale bond

Glendale Police officials are helping a push for a city bond that could get the department a new forensics lab and evidence storage.

The project would be part of one of the two bond questions on the ballot for voters this November: an $82 million bond in street and intersection improvements and another $78 million in public safety projects.

Glendale Police Officer David Goitia, who serves as president of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 12, said public participation for this years bond election in important. He encourages to the public to learn about some of the projects associated with the police department.
