Food festival in Fountain Hills next week

‘Check, Please! Arizona’ brings celebrated restaurants to Fountain Park

After an eight-year hiatus, the “Check, Please! Arizona” Food Festival is set for Saturday, April 11, at Fountain Park, transforming the site into a one-day showcase of some of Arizona’s local restaurants in the heart of Fountain Hills.

Presented by Arizona PBS and We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort, the festival will feature tastings from approximately 30 locally owned restaurants that have appeared on the long-running show, “Check, Please! Arizona.”

Robyn Duda, executive director of development at Arizona PBS, says the event marks a renewed effort to bring the show off the screen and into the community, celebrating Arizona’s culinary scene in a shared, outdoor setting.
