A 22-year-old Florida man was indicted in a Maricopa County court for defrauding and stealing over $65,000 from Maricopa County seniors, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office announced Friday in a release.
Andre Hart faces four counts of fraudulent schemes and artifaces and three counts of theft.
According to the release, in July 2026, on three separate dates, multiple victims were contacted via telephone by someone posing as a representative of their financial institution. The victims, who were mostly elderly, were persuaded to withdraw large sums of money and deliver the funds to someone they were told was an undercover investigator, according to the release.
