Florence’s Irish Cowboy reopens after wastewater incident

The Irish Cowboy opened again on Thursday after a backup of wastewater forced it to close its doors just days after finally debuting.

The long-anticipated pub and restaurant opened on Sept. 30, months after a planned St. Patrick’s Day launch was scuttled. Irish Cowboy co-owner Sabrina Johnston said that just six days later the pub was forced to shut down due to the wastewater backup.
