Florence trims town budget

The Florence Town Council unanimously approved the town’s fiscal year 2022-2023 budget at tonight’s council meeting.

Council and staff also held a Truth and Taxation Hearing on property tax and levy, and the actual levy will take place on July 5.

The council-approved  budget for fiscal year 2022-23 is almost $59.9 million, down from the current fiscal year’s budget of approximately $65.7 million.
