Florence moves to be part of a second national opioid settlement

The town of Florence is going forward to be part of an additional national opioid fund settlement.

On its consent agenda, the Florence Town Council approved a motion at its Tuesday, Feb. 21 meeting approving the needed agreement forms to provide the town with a share of the funds in five additional proposed national opioid settlements.

The administrator of the national settlement process recently notified Florence of the new proposed opioid settlements.
