Florence looking for interim town manager

The Florence Town Council on Monday approved a separation agreement with former Town Manager Russ Martin and laid out plans for the future.

Under the separation agreement, Martin will receive a payment of $142,304.99, which includes an additional three months of pay, a staff report stated. Martin’s original contract with Florence was for three years, in which he was to receive a base salary of $179,000.
