Florence lane restrictions for Gila River bridge project begin

Restrictions will take place through end of February

Florence drivers will be facing new travel restrictions.

The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising drivers to plan for overnight alternating lane restrictions on State Route 79 as part of the Gila River bridge project.

SR 79 near Hunt Highway (milepost 136) in Florence will see intermittent overnight lane restrictions between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays, which will continue until the end of February.
