The Florence High School cheerleading squad is celebrating placing in 10th nationally in the Universal Cheerleaders Association National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida.
The squad competed in the Small Varsity II Division at the championship tournament Feb. 10-12.
“Our first trip to NHSCC has been an overwhelming success,” according to a post on Florence High School’s Facebook page, “Our goal coming into this was to get past prelims in at least one routine, but these girls did so much more than that.”
