Florence council not happy with proposed noise changes

A proposal to change Florence’s noise ordinance was met with a lot of noise at Monday’s Florence Town Council meeting.

The lengthy proposed changes to the ordinance were prompted by a recent rash of complaints from a small number of residents regarding residential noise and construction noise, particularly from the ongoing residential development of Western Crossings, generally at the northeast corner of Centennial Park Avenue and Highway 287.
