The town of Florence is approaching one year of not having a town manager.
But local officials are hoping to have one in place soon.
“The town council is concerned about finding a highly skilled manager who will successfully function as both a member of the Florence Team as well as the community,” Mayor Tara Walter said. “We are looking for a person who will be able to develop lasting relationships with state and regional partners and give Florence a voice in regional decisions affecting our citizens.”
