Florence council fills vacant seat

Longtime community advocate Cathy Adam has been selected to fill the vacant seat on the Florence Town Council.

Adam was selected Wednesday after council members interviewed her and nine other applicants to replace Michelle Cordes on the council. Cordes resigned her seat on March 28 to run for mayor.
