Florence council approves annexing county land

The Florence Town Council has approved annexing about 37 acres of unincorporated Pinal County land.

At its Monday meeting, the council voted unanimously to approve the annexation. The vote came after the second reading of an ordinance calling for the annexation in what is known as Attaway Crossing. The measure passed without comment from the council.
