Florence company wins grant for sleep tech

Robert Kitchell is the founder and CEO of Florence-based Sleep Evolution.

Florence-based Sleep Evolution Corp. will receive grant funding to advance its patent-pending technology for treatment of sleep apnea and snoring.

The company began in 2014 with the goal of helping people become more compliant with sleep disordered breathing therapeutics. Sleep Evolution conceived of a therapeutic product in 2018, according to a press release.
