Florence approves $25K purchase of land for water project

The Florence Town Council has approved spending $25,000 to purchase more than 2 acres of land for the Adamsville Road 12-Inch Waterline Project.

Monday's unanimous approval was part of the council's consent agenda. Items on the consent agenda are approved or rejected with one vote unless a council member or member of the public asks that an item be removed for a separate discussion or vote.  Councilor Michelle Cordes did not attend the meeting.
