Five transported to hospital after shots-fired call in west Phoenix

Five people were hospitalized after what investigators believe was a shooting at a house part in west Phoenix on Saturday.  

Officers responded about 1:19 a.m. April 18 to the area of 95th Avenue and Cordes Road regarding a shots‑fired call, according to a release.

When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old teenage girl with at least one gunshot wound. The teen was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries who is now considered to be stable, according to the release.
