A new Series 6 liquor license is being sought for First Water Cocktail Bar, 1545 W. Broadway Ave. Nos. 101-103 in Apache Junction.
The business is owned by Justin Nicholas Evans, who also owns The Wandering Tortoise, 2417 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix, according to an application filed with the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.
The Apache Junction City Council is to hold a public hearing and make a recommendation to the state liquor licenses department on the application at a Dec. 5 meeting. It begins at 7 p.m. in the council chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd.
