Editor's note: Roman Butticci is the department's first recruit, not the first person recruited through Epic Productions services, which the Town of Paradise Valley contracted in September 2023.
Paradise Valley Police Department’s first recruit, Roman Butticci, graduated from the police academy Friday, Oct. 13.
“It’s a difficult job. And, you know, the world really needs police officers right now. I’m very excited for the fact that I’m going to be serving the community of Paradise Valley,” said Butticci.
