The first Queen Creek baby of 2023 seems to have really wanted her birthday to be special.
Lennon Thamert was born at Banner Ironwood Medical Center at 1:20 a.m. on New Year’s Day, weighing 6 pounds, 6 ounces and measuring 19 inches, as well as having a full head of hair, according to a press release.
The baby was born right as her mother, Emma Thamert, entered the hospital. Thamert had to be rushed to Banner Ironwood by firefighters as she went into active labor at around 11:30 p.m., Friday Dec. 31 at her Queen Creek home. By the time they arrived at the hospital, Lennon was starting to enter the world.
